Bamm... here I am. I said I will do a remake of the first version. Now I did. It's totally unique and uses a total other style than the first version.

Also, what's the use of those icons in the middle? Is it some kind of menu? If so, what do the icons stand for? These are questions that an average visitor to your website might ask themselves, which is a bad thing.
Hope this comment is any useful to you..

to be constructive I said that some part of our design are not enough contrasted and so, difficult to read :
- The to menu ( baseline especialy)
- The white on purple typo (middle)
- The light-blue on grey typo (footer)
Like DevStyle I'm not fan of the serif typo you use it looks like "not profesional".
I'm agree too for the lack of explaination of the icon-menu.
Hope it would be helpful

I agree with the typo it`s hard to read if you dont know what stands there. I wanted to create something "luxorious" with that typo, I though it looks a bit more elegant than a standard sans-serif. Finally not sure about it, maybe I will search for another one but I wouldnt take a normal webfont or something sans-serif.
The Icons are navigation-points for the big content slider in the middle.
I though that you can identify that the first one stands for something like "design-releated" the second "xhtml/css", third "database" or something like that. Not sure about the icons maybe I will replace them with something whith a clear vision. Finally it doesnt matter if you know what the icons mean beacause the slider will change the page automatically after some seconds
thanks for your comment and sorry for my english
I agree with the bad choice of white color in the middle. Will change this in final design.
The light color of the font in the menu is the view how it looks when the item is deselected. If you mousehover or clicked an menuitem the text will appear dark grey and also readable
In the footer I wanted the low contrast of any reason. Links in this color will also appear darker on hover.
Read the answer to DevStyle for a statement to the choice of the font & the icons.
Thanks for constructive comment
Great use of colors, the pink might be to strong though, it's overpowering the blue like this.
